Hi! I am a recent graduate who finished a dual degrees program at Columbia
University and the University of Richmond. I majored in Computer Engineering after having
finished my BSBA in Corporate Finance and minor in Mathematics. Doing this dual-degree program
had been my dream since it combines my dueling passions for business analytics and technological
innovation. During my time at Columbia, I grew my technical abilities in programming by taking
classes like Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Databases, and Cloud Computing; while at
the University of Richmond I gained business experience and insights by taking classes in It
& Data Analytics, Corporate Finance, Cases and Financial Modeling, and Strategic Management.
Outside the classroom, I reinforced my qualitative finance and strategy skills by conducting
qualitative and quantitative analyses of the economic environment through data analytics and
visualizations.
I am a driven, adaptable, and task-oriented computer engineer with
experience in finance who wants to make a strong impact on the world through technology and
business. I strive to gain a new and deeper understanding of the world around me through careful
analysis and drawing conclusions based on the data that I have. I follow new developments in the
tech sector and the business world to find what the future will be like and how I can play a
role in it.
Through summer internships at Bank of America and Bryn Mawr Trust, I
expanded my data analytics and visualizations abilities. By aggregating data in Excel and SQL
DBs and I created data-rich reports and visualizations tracking account balance growth, customer
churn, and loan account data inconsistencies for the Executive Leadership Team. During my time
at Bank of America, my team and I worked with product owners and the global security team to
identify process bottlenecks and developing new technology solutions and integrations to reduce
security reporting times and late security assessments.
During my senior year at
Columbia, I started working with the venture capital firm Charge Ventures where I served
multiple roles. I started as a data science intern and analyst collecting statistics and Key
Performance Indicators in new startup's pitch decks. Later on, I moved into working as a
Full-Stack developer creating two websites and platforms. The first website, Proton, is a data
entry portal and platform to collect the KPIs from pitch decks efficiently and flexibly. The
second website, StatsforStartups, is a website to display all
of the important KPIs that Charge has come across in its Data Project. In each of the websites,
I developed the backend in Django managed the data in a Postgres DB, and ran the DevOps for the
applications through DigitialOcean. For the front-end for StatsforStartups, we used NuxtJS and
Vue to develop the clean and functional UI.
Currently, I work as an Associate Consultant
for Beghou Consulting developing data visualizations and reports using python and Tableau for a
variety of clients.
In my free time, I love watching sports, and developing AI
models to predict their outcomes :), playing video games, like Anno 1800, City Skylines, or most
any other strategy and simulation game, and learning new things by watching my favorite tech and
educational YouTubers.
